Executive Summary
This report is prepared on the basis of my three-month practical
experience at Agrani Bank Limited, at Narayanganj Branch. This internship
program helps me to learn more about the practical situation of a financial
institution. Banking system of Bangladesh
has gone through three phases of development-Nationalization, Privatization,
and Lastly Financial Sector Reform. Agrani Bank Limited is a state-owned
commercial bank of Bangladesh
established in 1972. The whole working process of Agrani Bank Limited¸ Narayanganj
Branch is divided into 3 sections- (i) General Banking Section, (ii) Accounts
Section, and (iii) Foreign Exchange Section. This report has been presented
based on my practical observation and experience gathered from the Branch and
the focus is given on the General Banking Section.
The whole report is divided into three parts-Introductory parts,
Learning part and concluding part. The first chapter is the introduction
chapter of this report. The learning part shows General Banking activities of Agrani Bank Limited. The third and last chapter
contains problems of Agrani Bank Limited, recommendations and conclusion.
